We ask that you read these terms and conditions carefully. By creating an account and placing an order with us, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

 

CUSTOMER REGISTRATION

To place an order with The Detox Company you need to create an account with us by following the steps on our website.

 You will be asked to create a password which you must keep confidential. Any orders that are received and processed under your account will be your responsibility.

 

PAYMENT

Payments must be made at the time you place your order. If payment is not received, your order will not be processed.

 Order cancellations must be received no less than 48 hours before your delivery date. Cancellations can only be made via email or telephone, with confirmation from our team. This also applies to the postponement of a booking or changing the type of cleanse booked.

Refunds will not be made after a cleanse programme has started.

We do not accept returns. Our products are all super fresh and perishable, and therefore cannot be returned.

We accept payment by credit or debit card on the website, and via Multibanco. We do not accept cheques or cash on delivery.

Your order is not confirmed until we have received payment.

 

ORDER COLLECTIONS

We do not accept responsibility for rescheduling collections if you do not collect the order within the collection window of 6pm – 9pm on the selected evening. Collection rearrangements will be made at our discretion depending on team availability.

 

DELIVERY

We will deliver to the address linked to your account, with the information that you have provided. Please ensure that delivery and access instructions are clear.

We do not accept any liability for stolen or damaged orders if you have specifically requested for these to be left outside your delivery address (such as at your doorstep or on your front porch).

We do not accept responsibility for rescheduling deliveries if there is no one present to receive the order at the specified address during the delivery window between 6pm and 9pm on the selected evening. We will contact you on the telephone number provided and it is your responsibility to ensure that you are reachable. Redelivery will be made at our discretion depending on driver availability and will incur an additional fee.

If we are unable to deliver to you for reasons beyond our control, we will contact you to rearrange delivery at your convenience or we will refund you should you prefer to cancel the order. Our liability in this respect is limited to the price of your order.

Changes to your delivery address must be notified to us no less than 48h prior to your delivery date. We are not obliged to accommodate late changes to your delivery address however, we will do our best to accommodate and this may incur an additional fee.

 

REFUNDS

Please review your delivery as soon as you receive it and notify us immediately if you have any concerns. If you do not let us know by 9am on the morning after delivery, we will not refund or replace any item.

If for any reason you do not receive your order by 9.30pm on the selected delivery date, please contact us immediately. If you do not notify us by 9am on the morning after delivery, you will be deemed to have received and accepted the delivery and we will not issue a refund.

 

HEALTH AND NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION

Specific health, dietary requirements and/or objectives cannot be guaranteed. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary requirements.

Though we are happy to provide services and recommendations that may help you to improve your overall health and wellbeing, we do not ‘treat’ or aim to ‘cure’ any health issues. The information provided on our website is for general information purposes only. The information is not intended to be a substitute for professional health, medical advice or treatment, nor should it be relied upon for the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of any health condition.

Please note that you should not undertake a cleanse programme if you are under 18, pregnant, breastfeeding or suffering from certain medical conditions. If you have any concerns, you are taking specific medication or you have a medical condition, please check with your doctor first.

Our products and cleanse programmes are not suitable for people with a celery and/or tree nut allergy, or diabetics who are insulin dependent. Please ensure that you do not consume any products (cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, almond blends or soups) which contain ingredients that you are allergic to.

In ordering from us you acknowledge that we cannot be held responsible for any reaction that you may have to celery, tree nuts or to any other ingredient. 

Our cold-pressed juices, wellness shots and almond blends are not pasteurised and therefore may not be suitable for vulnerable groups.

The nutritional composition of our products is analysed by a world leading testing and analysis laboratory. Our products are made using natural ingredients, therefore each ingredient will vary and there will be subtle nutritional variances.

 

WEBSITE ACCESS

We always strive to offer you the best possible service and in doing so, occasionally we will update our website and we will resume the service as soon as possible.

In the unlikely event that a fault occurs with the website, we will correct it as soon as we possibly can. If you have an issue accessing the website or if you encounter a problem with any functionality on our website, please contact us immediately. 

In the event that our website is unavailable, our usual cancellation, postponement and order update deadlines apply. 

 

WARRANTIES

While we strive to ensure the information provided on our website is accurate, we do not accept liability for inaccuracies of such information. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies and/or errors, or for the results from the consideration, use or application of such information.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a customer.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on this website without our express written consent.
