Green peas anchor the formula with plant protein – amino acid coverage for tissue repair, alongside prebiotic fibre that feeds the gut-skin axis. Cucumber delivers silica, a mineral that supports the structural foundation of skin, connective tissue, and joints. Sweetheart cabbage brings vitamin K1 for bone health over time, alongside glucosinolate compounds that support the liver's natural clearance pathways. Leek provides a second prebiotic source, feeding the gut bacteria that support immunity and mood. Spring onion adds quercetin for antioxidant protection; garlic contributes immune and cardiovascular support; chuchu adds folate alongside its hydrating profile. Extra virgin olive oil helps the fat-soluble nutrients in the bowl absorb more effectively.
Turmeric anchors the formula's anti-inflammatory core – curcumin is fat-soluble, and extra virgin olive oil helps it absorb substantially better – while adding its own anti-inflammatory compounds through the same pathways, deepening the effect. Ginger's natural compounds remain active through gentle cooking, adding further anti-inflammatory depth while supporting comfortable digestion. Carrot releases more beta-carotene through gentle heat — which the body converts to vitamin A for skin cell renewal, immune function, and healthy vision. Garlic supports immune resilience and cardiovascular health through its heat-stable natural compounds. Red onion contributes quercetin for broad antioxidant and cellular protection. Leek brings prebiotic fibre for the gut microbiome. Celery adds anti-inflammatory plant compounds and natural electrolytes for fluid balance. Cumin supports digestive enzyme activity – adding the digestive depth that completes the bowl.
- Heat the soups gently to a light simmer in a saucepan – do not bring to a full boil. This preserves heat-sensitive nutrients and the polyphenol integrity of extra virgin olive oil.
- All frozen products are gently prepared then immediately blast frozen to protect and preserve the nutrients, texture, and flavour. Once received, the products should be kept frozen.
- The evening before you want to consume a frozen product, place it in a bowl or container of water in the fridge to defrost overnight – the gentlest method, which preserves the product integrity.
- Our frozen products have a 2-month shelf life from the time of pressing. Check the use-by date on each bottle and consume within the indicated time frame.
- Once defrosted, consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze.
- Shake gently before opening – natural separation after defrosting is normal, a sign of no stabilisers.
- This product contains celery and may contain traces of tree nuts. Not suitable for those with relevant allergies.
- If you take blood-thinning medication, consult your doctor first. Our products are naturally high in leafy and cruciferous greens, which are rich in vitamin K – and vitamin K can affect how these medications work.
